Hatte meinen Wagen heute wegen den LED Matrix Lichtern endlich mal in der Werkstatt. Das Problem mit dem Sync4 Update ist meinem Händler nicht bekannt 😂. Er hat sich aber sehr für die ganzen Infos (aus dem Forum hier) bedankt. 
Er hat nachgehakt und mir auch bestätigt, dass noch keine neues Sync4 Updates angekündigt sind…
Also, weiter warten….
Vielleicht sollte es Pflicht werden, dass sich die „Freundlichen“ in Foren anmelden… 
Wie schon berichtet habe ich beim Ford Kundenservice angefragt (vor ca. 14 Tagen) und mir wurde gesagt, dass die Updates wegen nicht ordnungsgemäßen Funktionierens bis zum beheben der Fehler eingefrohren haben . Heute wurde ich wie versprochen (alle 14 Tage) informatorisch angerufen . Den nächsten Anrufsoll ich in 14 Tagen erhalten, oder früher bei behobenen Fehler .

For those who are having issues with the SYNC4 navigation getting stuck, go to your Ford garage and upgrade to the latest version of sync and also rewrite the following modules: APIM, ACM, SBDO, and BCM.
If they refuse to do this, give them the following reference from Ford:
SSM 52379 or TSB-24-2034 - Drive mode defaults to normal mode while driving and message displays in the center display screen with or without DTC U0253 stored in the ABS module.
Seems that my folder dealer didn't update the SYNC4 version, but only did a module reprogramming... I'll test over the weekend if the situation is the same or if things are improved

Thanks for the detailed info. Do you know which is actual the latest version# of your mentioned units (APIM, ACM, SBDO, and BCM)?
And it’s possible to check this out by myself or this must done by Ford?

Jetzt sind es bald 5 Monate seit dem das fehlerhafte Update eingespielt wurde und keine Lösung in Sicht.
Sorry Ford, aber das kann es ja jetzt wirklich nicht sein - es kann ja mal was schief gehen, aber das sollte sich doch innerhalb von 3-4 Wochen beheben lassen.
In US Foren gibt es auch schon hunderte Seiten zu dem Thema. Das war definitiv mein letzter Ford...............
Ich hatte vorher ein Kia und da zerstörte ein Update die Schilderkennung. Ich musste auch ein halbes Jahr auf ein Update warten. Die bringen 2x im Jahr ein Update für das System. Da war auch nix mit zwischendurch ein Bugfix.
This time it's different, Ford doesn't have a timeline in which they're releasing updates twice a year, they're releasing them randomly.
I opened a case with the factory in Germany and let's see if the APIM will be replaced, if this will fix the issue or not.
